Benefit Geelong is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping Greater Geelong and the region’s communities. We exist to improve local lives.
We do this by providing donations and grants, connections and advocacy for community groups and projects that enhance the lives of local residents.
Our Impact
We exist to improve local lives.
And we do this because of customers banking with Bendigo Bank and choosing us as their charity partner.
Our Grants
Each year, Benefit Geelong has two grant rounds.
March and August
Benefit Geelong Community Grants Program will support programs and projects that make a positive contribution to the Greater Geelong community.
Charitable and Not-for-profit organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.
Member based organisations where the grant will only benefit members and not the wider community are excluded e.g. purchasing sporting equipment for the benefit of members only.
Community groups that have received a Benefit Geelong grant in the past two years will be ineligible for this round.

We believe that everyone should be able to reach their academic goals and offer scholarships for University and TAFE students up to $5,000.
