Foundation 61 – Technology for Educating, Connecting and Supporting Women at the House of Hope

This project will ensure women seeking care at the House of Hope are supported with the digital technology they need to participate in life skills and educational classes, connect with online health and counselling services, connect with family and friends digitally and be supported by administrative staff.

Foundation 61 provides a live-in residential rehabilitation service for men with life controlling issues in the Geelong region. Approximately 50 men and their families benefit from the service each year.

In 2003, Foundation 61 will be opening the doors to a brand-new residential rehabilitation facility for women in Mt Duneed called the ‘House of Hope’.

The House of Hope will have 8 spacious rooms for women, space for education and knowledge acquisition as well as a gym, art room and play space for young children. Two rooms will have extra space and equipment for young children.
